Karate Robo Zborgar (2011) by Noboru Iguchi
#1
Superhero Daiman, who rides a robotic motorcycle that knows karate, does battle with the evil Dr. Akunomiya and his sidekick, gorgeous cyborg Miss Borg.

This is so cheesy, way over-the-top in so many ways.  Rocket-powered heads, a robot with gigantic lips that sucks the DNA out of people, breasts that turn into Godzilla heads, giant tongues as weapons, tentacle breasts, just an astonishment of weird visuals.

At the hour mark it says, "to be continued," and the story resumes "20 years later."  Our hero is now in his fifties, with new fighting tactics, especially when he's losing -- such as pulling out a bottle of insulin, explaining that he's diabetic, and giving himself a shot, which makes the villain feel guilty for picking on a sick person.  The first hour is best, but the second hour still has a whacky charm about it.

The prolific director Noboru Iguchi has an extensive oeuvre that includes such guilty gems as RoboGeisha, Machine Girl, Mutant Girls Squad, and Zombie Ass: The Toilet of the Dead.   Considering the last of these, it's not so surprising that, at one point in Karate Robo Zborgar, our intrepid hero finds himself pitted against Diarrhea Robot.

An acquired taste, but one that you really ought to develop.
I'm nobody's pony.
