2016 - 2017 Season
#1
Okay, I'm watching The Good Doctor. It's about an autistic man played by Norman Man who becomes a surgeon at a fictitious San Jose Hospital.  A big part of the premise is overcoming the prejudice of working with the handicap and learning to see what people can do. It's pretty soapy. It's produced by the team that did House so there is a lot mystery diseases that need to be solved. But this time rather than having Sherlock the grumpy addict, you have Sherlock the autistic man.

But it's set in San Jose. You would think they would have at least a few elements that looked like San Jose. I can't find one. On last night's episode, they had to travel from San Francisco (Which had no San Francisco features except for the Golden Gate bridge) to San Jose, a distance according to the script, of 70 miles. Yes, if you don't know San Jose these are minor quibbles. But they keep throwing me when they do establishing shots of San Jose and it's not a town I recognize.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
