The Queen's mom was not happy that we did not come down there for Florida. She made that even clearer when she sent me an invoice for her scoping work on The Last Captain that stated payment would be accepted in the form of a visit. Well, I did pay her because I want to make a film where people get paid. But I also agreed to a visit. We leave late Monday night.
At this point, after the visit to Cape Canaveral and two visits to the Dali museum, I can't say there is a lot of draw to the visit. I'm sure we shall spend one morning at Lake Henderson photographing the birds. And eating a lot, since there isn't much else to do to pass the time. I hoped for a massive storm full of lightning and thunder but the forecast calls for sunny and 80s.
On the flip side, The Queen's father-in-law isn't doing too well and mom is the sole caregiver. This, hopefully, will give mom a bit of a break
