PA direct2DVD fightsploitation. The lead, Jino Kang, is being pushed by one of my freelancers. Kang is strong, but the film is painfully dumb. Underground MMA fights. Srsly? Why bother being underground? Maybe they like fighting in wrecked basements? And for audiences of maybe a dozen or so why bother? Who takes off a heavy leather jacket before a knife fight? And who is into Bruce Lee homage complete with wolverine claws? Man, the crap I gotta watch for work sometimes...
The funny part is it's filmed in SF and two friends are in it - one friend who dm was cultivating as a padawan until she got married and had a kid (she was formerly the gf of the other friend in the film, and was credited with a pseudonym.)
The freelancer gave me part 2. I'm debating about watching it or pouring Tabasco in my eyes...
