Okay. Sometime it isn't the brain kicking in. Some times other factors are in play.
This morning at 2:30 Maeve decided to drive her head into me in order to alert me to the fact that her head needed a scratching for at least ten minutes. I acceded to her wishes. Now, I'm up. Maeve then lay down next to me. This caused Dani to get up and administer a thorough face washing. Her tongue is raspy.
I had the two dogs atop me until the alarm went off at 4am.
