And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

I picked this up at the library sale because it was fifty cents and I had never read anything by her. (It said on the back of the book that only the Bible and Shakespeare have sold more books.) The writing was pretty good, character sketches pretty good, and it moved along at a good pace. 

BUT....

The ending was preposterous. I really don't think it could be done. And there was no way you could ever figure it out from the text, so it was a Deus ex Machina ending, and I was annoyed.

Maybe it's not one of her better ones?
