Why do I cringe every time I see some actor attempt Dali?
Still, I'd like to see this. Sometime. If Greg has a time machine, he could go back a couple of weeks and catch it down there (if I deciphered the schedule on the confusing info page correctly).
I think it runs 18 minutes. This trailer is maybe a minute.

There's a CD soundtrack available. I've only listened to Gala Whip, which I really like. You can listen to that or other stuff here:

That actually looks kind of cool in a 'Naked Lunch' kind of way.

The fact that it is a short makes it even more appealing.

This site has two clips. Actually, the first -- Kinky Hoodoo Voodoo -- is a short film of maybe 5 minutes. The second -- Las aventuras galácticas de Jaime de Funes y Arancha -- is the trailer for some whacky SF TV series.

I would especially recommend Kinky Hoodoo Voodoo (it reminds me of my childhood).

...or at least I did if I didn't trade them in. One was this weird soundscape he did. Or maybe he had someone do it for him and just put his name on it. The other was from some biography film or something. I can't seem to find it on the net. I should just get up, go in the other room, and look at what they are since obviously, my memory hasn't persisted. But I'd have to get up off my ass, and I'm not going to do that right now.

Uh. Yeah. Unredeeming.
I wouldn't bother you with it.
But this way I increase the chances she'll be in your dreams tonight ... rather than mine.

Nice animated interpretation of some of Dali's most powerful images.

I'm having two powerful reactions to this news.

1) It's about time.

2) I'm going to hate it.

He was in NY working as a photo editor and went to some artsy party. He saw this guy and thought he was some sort of Dali impersonator because he was such caricature, like an impersonator. Turned out it was the real Dali.

Definitely not Dali in his element.
Still, he really screws with their heads -- without really trying.
I got to laughing along with the audience and MC.

Still trying to wrap my head around the fact that an artist of his stature was on What's my Line. Good thing they had the blindfolds on or the game would have been over in a second.
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit
