Come on! Who doesn't want to watch a documentary about the Red Army hockey team?
It could be more accurately be titled the Fetisov story since the story mostly focuses on him. It tells his story from joining the Red Army team when he was 9 all the way until he left Russia to join the New Jersey Devils. He had a lot of battles to fulfill his dream of playing hockey and never backed down, including standing up to the minister of defense.
It is a fascinating story played against the back drop of the cold war. Yes, the story of the Lake Placid defeat is in there plus the Russians dominance for the next eight years, which never seems to come up much. Hmmm.
