This is Snoop Dogg's conversion to Rastafarianism, taking on the new name Snoop Lion. It's really just an excuse for Snoop to smoke a lot of pot. There was a lot of controversy about this when it came out because Snoop allegedly dissed some Rasta elders after it was all done. I put off watching this because of that, even though I never validated it and still haven't. I put it on for background noise as I made SNWMF laminates. For this, it was quite serviceable. Snoop does visit some cool Reggae icons, Bunny, Damien, Stephen, all the while trying to talk them into collaborating with him on his new album, which I still haven't really heard, but am now thinking I should give it a listen. I do like Snoop. I've never met him, but I've worked many many shows of his. He's quite funny and very diverse. And smoky, very very smoky. I think he won me over most when he did the Bollywood collab with Akki.
