Big Eyes
#1
Yep, it's the story about those creepy kid pictures with the big eyes that were all the rage back in the late Sixties early Seventies. Christoph Waltz plays the Christoph Waltz character also known as Walter Keane. Amy Adams plays the stereotypical low self esteem fifties housewife. Tim Burton seems to be missing except for the color pallette and some occasional trippyness.

Basically, Margaret did all the paintings and Walter took all the credit. It was fun seeing the recreation of Sixties SF, including the Hungry-I which is where the paintings first got started. But the story was very predictable, but it was nice to see something without a spandex suit for a change. The characters in the film that is. I always wear my spandex suit.

No sword fights. Not even close.
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit
