Watching the reboot of this series produced by Seth McFarlane (What the hell?) and starring Neil degrasse Tyson. It is currently streaming on Netflix.
We are currently up to episode 3 and I must say, I'm really enjoying it. NDT is a great host. I want him to explain all of science to me. Which basically is what the show is doing. The most recent episode was a discussion of Halley and Newton. It's my favorite episode so far. Lots of good tidbits about why we should revere those two men, as well as Hook.
Some of the bits are hokey, especially when he talks about getting into our spaceship of the imagination. The spaceship always reminds me of a cigar cutter. But there is some great cinematography and the stories are fascinating.
