Florida Thanksgiving 2014

Yes, we have decamped for warmer climbs to celebrate Thanksgiving with tQ's parents in Lakeland, FL. If there was a high spot in the area, we could probably see DisneyWorld from here. We will be going to the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg on Sunday.

That was a major pilgrimage for me - the climax of a very surreal ABA in Miami many years ago...

I was in Seville for 3 days, Rome for a day, and then Barcelona's Gothic Quarter for 4 days...Gaudi. Miro. Dali. Picasso. I only had limited time and it was pouring rain off and on, so I didn't see the Dali's. I only made it to Parc Guell and the Sagrada Familla, and on Domingo, Domingo, Domingo found out that the Picasso museum was free after 3p. Pretty cool collection, and we got there just as they started letting the freeloaders in in batches, so it wasn't too crowded. Snapped this pic for the Yeti:
