The story so far (right after our office party)
Secret Santa: Gift box of Duvel (4 bottles and one classy glass) SCORE!
$25 Walmart card, 2lb Sees nuts & chews, several Kung Fu T-shirts (like I need more of those, but G2 was cleaning out her closet, and there are a few cool ones), Taiwanese tea, and a mysterious package wrapped in toilet paper. :?
I'm taking all of the pecans that our printer sent this year. No one else here wants them and I have grown rather fond of them.

various bottles of wine, a Kilchoman "All Islay" whisky, a "SmokeHead 18" in a steel-clad cask that glowers like the monolith in 2001 (the whisky is not up to the packaging, however) 2 x Macallan 10, an Ardbeg 10 (thank god!) Visa gift card, REI gift card, some Godiva chocos, a box of really nicely packaged pineapple cakes (Taiwanese? Very tasty).

Large moleskin notebook (love the pocket ones, but not sure what to do with this one), robot socks, bath salts (not the drug kind), scar reduction cream (so needed), Macbeth shoes (thought I scotched that snake when I left Fremont), TarArt (trippy mandala), Custom-made grey hoodie with Seabright and TarArt (best gift), stiff bath scrub brush with handle (all bamboo), sandalwood soap (3 bars!), Best of 2013 Magazine Writing collection (for my annual fat slice of humble pie), car compass, new rear tires (old ones were badly cupped), new rear shocks (old ones caused cupping), new car battery, digital voice recorder, two flannel shirts (solid dark colors, not plaid), skin cleanser for men, postcard of nazgul from gollum...
I think that's all...
No whisky.
The mysterious toilet paper wrapped gift was lemon zest green tea. It came in a nice tin.

The choice was between the dogs and the copter. I made an error and chose dogs. Oh, you meant the Whiskey.

So I ordered something on Amazon from a third-party seller, little realizing they were China-based (that fact is hidden extremely well).
They sent me the wrong item by a long shot. I mean, not even close. After several email exchanges with them (it took considerable effort to make them realize the problem), they apologized profusely, gave me a full refund, and did not require that I return the wrong item.
Anyway, it appears to be an iphone cover. The design is a golden peacock inset with diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires.
I was going to put it on Ebay with a minimum bid of $20,000. But then it occurred to me that one of you might be interested in it. If you are, just let me know. I'll figure out a way to get it to you. Through the mail is probably not a good idea because of the astronomical cost of insurance coverage.
First one to show interest gets it. Here's a photo.

Here is what I ordered. A skeleton vertebra earring ear wrap cuff. Quite a bit different from a golden peacock iphone cover. My motif for Xmas shopping this year was bones (influenced by DOOM): skulls, skeletons, etc. All exorbitantly priced. This item was just under $10,000. I'm not cheap. No-sir-eee.
