It's Jason Statham kicking ass.
The plot had something to do with a chinese girl who was at the center of criminal war between the Chinese, Russians, and the Cops in New York City. She had some numbers that could open some safes and if they fell into the wrong hands blah blah blah. It is up to disgraced cop and former cage fighter with a price on his head to save the Chinese Girl. Because in Statham's words "she saved him first" Whatever.
Car chases. Shoots out. Punch fests. Blood fountains. High body counts. That's what this film is all about. And they are good fights. And good shoot outs. You can actually see what is happening during the inter changes. And the action keeps happening at a pretty good clip. And it's available on Netflix.
Only towards the end when Statham and the girl bond and they try and straighten out the plot stupidity does it drag. But it is really fun and senseless up until then. Bring on the ultra-vi!
If the film had a swordfight, I would have driven up to Norcal so we could all watch this together.
