SKoFT takes a realistic approach to what happens when someone you love is taken by fairies and the aftermath of that abduction. Imagine if your girlfriend disappeared in the woods after you have had a big fight? What would the police do?
The action starts twenty years after the abduction and tells the tale of what happened to the families involved. It starts with with the abductee returning after what she thinks has only been six months. They send her to a psychiatrist because her story is obviously the mask for some deep seated problems.
It is a really well written story and is a great take on the traditional fairy tale kidnap story.
