I haven't been on in a while - beginning of the new semester, my busiest time - and I figured there would be a thread for this. There isn't so here we go. I didn't keep up with their recent music, but Steely Dan did some of the seminal songs of the seventies, such as "Peg", "Josie", "FM", "Rikki Don't Lose That Number" and "Do It Again".
DM, I used the word seminal just for you.

In the dark ages when I worked at Burgerland in Limerick, Ireland, the store manage had Aja on a loop. We heard it constantly.
My other Steely Dan story goes to the Yeti who figured we should use Deacon Blues for dance music at one of the Doom Lynch Castle events.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

Thanks?
I wasn't really that into Steely Dan. I luv the origin story of their name, and of course their sound was pervasive while we were growing up. I had several chances to see them with RM but never did. I regret that now.
