English comedy of manners with time travel. Fans of Victorian England, Jeeves/Wooster, time travel should pick this up. Very light-hearted book.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

Thanks for the recommend - I am in profound need of something light hearted.

Gail Carriger "Souless" series. Each one better than the previous.
