I loved the first game. A stranded astronaut fighting zombies; what's not to love?
The sequel was satisfying but made the weapon/suit upgrade process too complex.
Still, traveling dimly lit hallways with skittering necromorphs popping out at every turn was exciting and scary (MUST BE PLAYED IN THE DARK).
The game was long and the graphics were top notch.
Adding steerable rocket-boots for the anti-grav sequences were a great addition to the leap-and-stick mechanics of the first game.
I had to switch from normal to easy for the last boss battle because I did not stock up on health packs, but other than that I say GO FOR IT!
