Hey, I worked on this film. And I thought I did a post on it elsewhere . . .
Who knew Aaron Sorkin was good at dialogue. The story was very entertaining and I got to learn a fictitious background of the world's youngest billionaire. It is a movie that requires you to put the pieces together to find out people's motivations rather than hitting you over the head with the talking points. It treated the audience like adults which was odd.
If you stay to the credits, you'll find something interesting. Besides the fact that no carpenters were used in the making of this film, there were a ton of special effects people thanked. There weren't any spaceships or alien creatures. They filmed everything on practical locations and soundstages so there weren't any Green Screen sets. But if you look at the acting credits, you'll notice there is only one name given for the Winklevoss twins. This meant they had to shoot the actor twice in every scene so there could be two of them. I guess we didn't have any twin actors left in Hollywood to play this roll. They also had a lot of money to do the effects.
