I haven't been to Gilman since I played there about 20 years ago. It's about the same, except the white walls and graffiti were painted over. Now it's black walls and graffiti. Fun show. Five bands. NA went next to last. Very eclectic mix of bands. Very loud. The nice volunteers at the place sell ear plugs for a quarter. My ears are still ringing anyway... It was a hot day and the club was hot and full of smelly hipsters.

Pyramid brewery is across the street where i think an empty lot used to be (20 years ago). Went over and had a nice IPA between acts. It was a good change of pace. It was air conditioned and the beer was nice and cold.

All in all, it was a good night out. I have a party to go to in about 12 hours. Better get some sleep...
