I downloaded the TV series "Bones" to my iPod to keep me distracted during workouts. I enjoyed the characters, so I thought I'd try some of the books on which they were based.
Turns out that the only relationship that the TV series has to the books is the name of the main character, Temperance Brennan, and her occupation - forensic anthropologist. Other than that, they're totally, completely different. TV Temperance is less emotional than most Vulcans; the literary Temperance is crying every other chapter. But once I got past that confusion, I found that the books are just as enjoyable; similar topics, just presented differently.
Good airplane reading.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
