I've been in a really weird zone: Stacy's doula client gave birth on Thanksgiving at 1 in the morn after a 36-hour inducing. Work is really weird - weird politics with the parent company, lots of changes ahead and everyone's looking at each other to see who has who's back. There was this huge ordeal about who would carve the Turkey -all we had was a standard fork and a cheap steak knife - and I haven't eaten any land animals since my last Tassajara trip. Tuesday on eht way to drop Tara off at school, I was crossing Dumbo bridge and this truck pickup up a loose hubcap under its rear wheel and flung it over my car like a shuriken.

I got an even better avatar coming. I keep telling you this. You don't beleive me. But you will. When you see it, you will. It's the king daddy of DOOM avatars, at least in an old incriminating photo sort of way.

Later I heard that some school in CO uses it as their school shirt. Imagine...
