Weird to see Emile Hirsh in this role after "Into the Wild". He didn't seem quite as "goody-two shoes", "What's he doing with Trixi!?!" as the cartoon character. Also, Susan Sarandon has a pretty big part as Speed's mother. I don't remember a mother character in the cartoon....

Definitely a big screen movie. I didn't see it in IMAX, that might have been mind numbing. The colors are wild in this movie.
