Prodigy was struggling. Of the 3 animated STs, it comes in last.

Well, then.
I did notice that this was the first twitter link that had 'X' in the URL code. I had to exchange that with twitter to make the code work.

Good posting tip. That would've been very frustrating had I tried to post a tweet (or now is it an Xeet?)
Thanks 4MMasster!

Watch the Star Wars Special first. You are not ready yet.

I know I said I was going to bail on this but I peeped the first 3 eps. It’s a tad more interesting since it’s the real(?) Admiral Janeway as opposed to the holo one and she’s got a new Voyager. The Doc appears and ironically he’s the stiffest character, and we find Chakotay plus his number 1 who is Aurelian (I think - the bird-headed alien species from ST:TAS). This is shaping up to be the Voyager epilogue. I’m not that into it but I’ll probably watch more because they’re short eps. Not sure if I’ll finish it because it’s like 20 eps.
Inspired me to go back and rewatch ST: TLD S2 is on Netflix.

Watched a few more eps. As ST:TNG is to Picard, ST:V is akin to S2 of ST: P.
Unfortunately, and I should know better, I skimmed a review which spoiled a major mcguffin for me. It's not a great mcguffin, but I would not have seen it coming and it may have played out like a pleasant surprise. Or not. The introduction of cetacean navigators in the animated ST shows is odd. It started as another ST:TLD jokes, and now it's a thing. Doesn't quite work for me if I think about it long enough, but a lot of sci-fi falls apart when you think about it long enough. ST: P is a time travel plot, which is invariably full of paradoxes.

That's why we have the TVA to clean up those paradoxes.

Star Trek has the Temporal Accord of the 31st century.

Note that there was a ST: TLD Easter egg in ST: P - the Doctor hologram from ST: V said that the Prodigy crew was the most dysfunctional he's seen since the Cerritos. Good one, Doc.

Watched a few more eps last night as I was packing. I think I’m on 7 or 8 now (20 per season!)
I’m getting a bit more into its sense of humor. Still not great, but still Star Trek, especially as Admiral Janeway makes this into the Voyager epilogue. I’ll finish it eventually. Eps are short. They showed Broken Mirror at the SDCC panel (which goes to my fav place in ST space) and spoiled the ending, but strangely that motivates me more to get through it. Now if only Netflix would renew LD…
