If only there was a set carpenter to interview these set carpenters who knew what questions to ask...

Meanwhile, back on topic:

THE HOLDOVERS

CONCRETE UTOPIA

I also got an invite to interview the stunt coordinators for John Wick 4 as part of their Oscar campaign. That's tempting but I don't quite have the bandwidth.

NAPOLEON

I might do this one. It sort of works out for my schedule and will be right after my Shaolin shuffle in LA. Realistically speaking, I'll likely have a lot of catch up then, but I'm sorely tempted.

Ridley! Joaquin! Great visuals! Poor storytelling.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

Just got invited to a screener in the middle of my Nov Shaolin shuffle. But it might work in my schedule so I'm seriously considering it.

It would be hard to get an IMAX out to the Lair.

I've tapped Patrick but his dog is going to have a large growth surgically removed from his neck on Halloween and Patrick doesn't know if he'll be free from dog care. I accept that excuse but if he bails, I'll have to write the whole damn thing (and I don't even know where to begin). Tara is deep in law school so I have not pestered her with any of this, but if Patrick does bail, I'll reach out. And if Tara can't do it, there's plenty of others who might join me in a heartbeat. Dang, I should just commit to it and start in on some research right now, huh?

IMDb lists the following:
Peng Zhang second unit director (director of the biggest box office bomb in China - Asura)
Andy Lister Assistant fight coordinator
Trayan Milenov-Troy Fight Coordinator: additional photography
Liang Yang assistant stunt coordinator / fight coordinator
plus Jade Xu is listed as a stunt performer, who I'm familiar with although I don't think we've interacted.

That being said, IMDb credit are notoriously inaccurate until the movie is released. Anyone with a pro-account can post their involvement and they well might be involved but are ultimately uncredited.

But there's a lot to work with Kung Fu-wise on that list. Could be done...could be done...

I should right, if just for the Flerkin.

I luv Flerkins. Best MCU thing ever.

Today I finished writing two overdue pieces: a Thanksgiving piece for YMAA and notes for the Shaolin Immortal show. I'm kinda burnt out from writing right now. But...flerkins...
