Gave into the peer pressure at little Kaiser today and received my Flu Shot. And by peer pressure I mean, there was a sign that said get your flu shot today and there was no one in line.

Got my bivalent (no bivalve) yesterday...feeling fine today.

My iaido instructor is covid positive now right now but he skipped class last night because of it. The senior student led.
But then there's this one kid - my class is all 40+ except for this one new kid (newer than me) and he's pre-teen/teenish. He was there and today, he's covid positive. I tested this morning and am negative. I'll test again in a few days because of the gestation period. But the one good thing about sword class - it's always socially distant. When everyone has a yard of steel (well, aluminum here) we all stay well over 6 feet apart unless we're doing sparring drills (which we did not last night). I suppose fencing has the advantage because they have masks too...

My mother has been given the Rona by, we think her caregiver. The caregiver complained recently of allergies but the medicos in the family think it was something else.
My mother had her ambulance ride to big Kaiser last night after she finished dinner. She didn't want to go. She has had enough of hospitals, but she did go and was admitted. She is up on all her shots and boosters. The problem last night was difficulty breathing, which only compounds her usual difficulties breathing. She has had two bouts of pneumonia in recent years. That is all I know at the moment. I will probably learn more once the world warms up a bit.

As far as I know, I've not succumbed. LCF did have suspicious symptoms during a time home tests were not available and public ones were overwhelmed and hard to get. So probably not for LCF, but who knows.

Seems a little shaky out there. More reports of the famous catching Covid.
I just ordered a bunch of home tests from Big Kaiser. They charged me the low, low price of free. I can order up to 8 kits a month.
