Sheltering in Place
1071/388 - work, dog parkn

1072/389 - Let’s see now. First, it’d be nice to get some sleep. I’ve got two telemeets, dog parkn, and iaido tonight. It’s the last day before Stacy & Tara come back from Tassajara and I hoped I would’ve got more done but I was horribly inefficient. Not even sure where the time went - spent a lot of hours with Yuki on walks & dog parkn, which was time well spent, but I’m feeling behind on my works, way behind.

Oh and I’m going to avoid getting eaten by that mountain lion. That’s an important goal for today.

My remote day. I've got some collages to glue up, then hit the used bookstore. And of course do some work.

Normally a day off from the shop, but I'll go in and finish the pre-Nationals repair work. The first wave of kids flies out today and tomorrow. We have 55 kids going. The usual lessons tonight at The Stab Factory, then dinner with H.

I'm all about the foreshadowing

If memory serves, and it seldom does nowadays, that postcard was your riposte to the original boneless accusation some 40 years ago now…

1073/390: I’m at verve right now enjoying an oat milk capp with a choco croissant. I’ve been walking Yukz here every morning while Stacy (&Tara) have been at Tassajara (lion be damned). It’s been pleasant but daily coffee has messed with my circadians, plus I had a wicked post iaido calf cramp last night (so much squatting in iaido).

Today is work, dog parkn & s&t come home. Might check out the midtown concert tonight- it’s afrobeats which might attract my tribe. I got a lot less done than I thought I would in Stacy’s absence. Thought I’d get around to more writing & chores but no. Not sure where the time went - mostly Yuki quality time I guess.

How "odd", exactly?

renew my passport, sort my backpacking gear, follow up on some medical and postal stuff for my mom, dispose of that incriminating evidence, follow up on some emails, finish a D00M post, bathe, order some stuff online, maybe get some more cheese too.

I’ll be lucky if I get half of these done at this rate. It’s a beautiful day here inna Cruz - international reggae day no less.

Tonight was lovely. Me & H had dinner with friends in the Haight, didn’t need a feckin coat, vest, beanie, etc.

Tomorrow is a bonus day; dinner plans in South Bay were canceled, so no plans! We have been upping H’s social contacts prior to her taking off for 2 months this Summer. June finished, and with it my end-of-season grind. Tomorrow is for sleeping late and wandering the neighborhood.

Oooh bonus day. That sounds lovely.

1075/392: Yoga, laundry, work (writing), dog parkn, maybe a grocery run because there’s no food here, then the finale of Endeavor.
