My bare butt baby is home. Her nether regions have been cleaned and been given pain meds and antibiotics. We've been informed she had stage two kidney disease.

Sorry to hear that.

Poor Mayhem.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

What’s the prognosis for that with Maeve?

About a year ago, the Vet gave her a couple of months to live and she is still here. The vet has prescribed a new food for her to eat that is low in sodium. She barely eats the food she has so that will go well. Although, the vet has said it's more important for her to eat that it is to eat properly. We've been give a tick and flea medication that will also help with the maggots.

Maeve is in her endgame. The length of it is up to here. While she is knocking on heaven's door, while we were gone she took the house sitter on the longest walks she has done in years.

Keep her happy. Keep her comfortable. Keep her going until she can't.

Hope it all goes smoothly. Maeve has proven to be a tough one. She must love it up at Lynch lair. What dog wouldn’t?

We got some meds in her after a purchase of her favorite pill delivery system: cream cheese. She is currently sitting in the front of the house enjoying her time.

As long as there’s cream cheese, life is still good.

Last night whilst I was in svale, Stacy fell asleep watching some 'boring' show and left the back door open. I keep a bag of dog treats by the door for when I have to call Yuki in because he's barking too much. Well, wouldn't ya know it? Raccoons love dog treats.

Apparently a raccoon attempted to abscond with Yuki's treats - not a smart move. There are 3 ways to get to that room and two were closed so Yuki barked and ran about the bungalow until he finally found the open path. The barking sent the raccoon running and Yuki chased it deep into the back yard.

Today he's strutting about proudly having served his guard dog duties. It's like he's sayin 'I is a good dog!'

I'm just glad he didn't catch up with that raccoon. I still remember the night one got in thru our cat door and I had to chase it all over the bungalow with one of my Kung Fu canes...

Yikes. Dogs lose fights with raccoons. Badly.

He hasn't caught up to a skunk yet either. Hopefully he never will...

Uncle Al has horror stories of dog owners who thought it would be fine to let their dogs deal with the raccoons.

Having personally faced off with raccoons several times, I can imagine...
