I discovered recently (the late) Keith Ohlfs, from my high school art class with Mr. Post, designed the spinning pizza wheel of death for NeXTStep which then became macOS X.

I disdain the spinning pizza wheel of death. I'll know that I failed karmically if I die and end up staring at the spinning pizza wheel of death for the rest of eternity.
Back on topic, I failed to click my blue dry erase pen shut and now it's dry. I color code my dry erase calendar and use blue a lot. I'm blue about my blue dry dry erase pen.

Doesn't reincarnation go hand in hand with karma? So you'll only stare at it for a while.

That'd make a nice koan.
I was thinking more in terms of Buddhist Hell - a topic I started to discuss here but abandoned - http://www.brotherhoodofdoom.com/doomFor...p?tid=1819
Theoretically (and this is something to discuss with a Buddhist monk or scholar) nirvana is extinction - the cessation of karma - which begs a question about cessation: is it cessation of good and evil? And if not, if we believe that cessation can be either good or bad, perhaps the spinning pizza wheel of death is the negative nirvana. The wheel is a major Buddhist symbol after all.

Speaking of the wheel, that reminds me of the Burning Spear song (as on Live Paris Zenith 88):
Jah is my driver
Jah is my rider
Jah is the wheel, the wheel, the wheel, the wheel

Likewise. It's a great tune, melodically and lyrically. Hunter/Garcia at the top of their game.

For some goddamned fukked up reason, my iPhone is beeping in the charger. It’s goddamed 1:30 am and I have to be up at 6. If I silence my iPhone, I won’t hear my alarm. If I don’t silence it, I won’t sleep. I must charge it for tomorrow.

My iPhone bricked in Galway. I did all the things you are supposed to do to fix it. Nothing. All of our trip details are in there. Only a small mountain of panic.
We found an iPhone repair place nearby. The tech guy did all the things I did and it started right up. I gave a huge sigh of relief.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

We're probably going to switch to T-Mobile, and supposedly they will offer a phone upgrade discount. My phone works fine but more storage would be nice. I have the original SE with 128GB. I'd love to have 256. I could double my music!
