Right out of the gate, cr spoiled it for me because this film opens with Jane Fonda’s 0-g spacesuit strip scene in her fur lined space ship, and she goes all the way, and I’m thinking this scene alone must’ve been such an impact of cf’s development, that I’m not even enjoying Jane topless. Thanks cf thanks a lot.
This is a wild watch now. It’s so cheesy, so many random nipples and inferred sex scenes. The pleasure torture execution machine is so over the top. And knowing who Jane became after this film just doubles its impact.
Beyond its Barbarella psychedella (not my line - lyrics from one of thr 60s tunes in the film) the sets & design are pretty impressive. The creepy doll babies with the metal chomping fangs? The discos orgy hookah den. The random bdsm chamber. So exploitive. So wrong. So npc.
This needs a reboot.
I’d say D00M recommended for those who’ve seen it already and need a twisted refresh. If you’ve never engaged it, it’s too late now.
