Sheltering in Place
Storm hits us tomorrow and rain is forcasted through next Wednesday.

Fence mending done. So easy with my little makita. And yes, it was sprinkling but very lightly.

Tomorrow is free day until Stabbiness occurs around 5:00pm. I had Dr’s appointments, but they got canceled. Now plan on sleeping late and then running errands in the rain. Got my tax prep done, but still need to print one more doc (and I keep getting distracted at work by pesky customers, so I forget to print one there). I’m hoping to get shorn tomorrow. We’ll see.

This weekend is the NCAA Western Regional fencing tournament. Not significant in the broader scheme of fencing, but it does bring some cronies to town, so looking forward to a long dinner and catch-up (prolly on Saturday). Unless we’ve all been flooded out.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

I messed up yesterday and took Yuki to the park, forgetting that it was his dog walker day. At least he got some good runs in at the park. His walkers rescheduled for tomorrow ir it’s not raining too hard. Getting him out for walkies has been the hardest part of this storm season.

965-282: 2 telemeets and a ton of work. Spent too much of yesterday trying to solve some problems in ontraport and need to make up from that. Also got some new tasks from Den & CHSA, plus I have an outstanding KFM thing due. I need to knuckle down (brace up?) over the next week.

My remote day, but I have to go in this afternoon to print mailing labels and package CDs to send out. Maybe hit the used bookstore then.

Every day is my remote day now…

965-282: A short telemeet, an interview with a new YMAA author, wrasslin with a new task in Ontraport, staying dry and warm…

Christina is taking the car to do a couple of house calls this morning, so maybe I'll walk over to Recycle Books.

One more thing tonight - the Academy Awards! I can’t remember ever being so invested. GO MICHELLE!

Also note that I watched 2.5 Donnie flix last night and wrote past midnight so I didn’t post about them like I usually do as I’m heading toward the land of nod. I’ll post about them later maybe, maybe during the Oscars when it’s a category I don’t care about. Got a good start on that article last night but there’s still a lot to do, plus I must catch up on that Ontraport task.

Oscar Oscar.
I'll record the show and start a half hour late to fast forward through the commercials.

I'm going to watch it live on my new AppleTV. If Michelle wins, I'm going to scream like Jamie Lee during a Michael jump scare.

Woohoo! The odds seem to be in favor of EEAAO. But Oscar does like to throw the occasional curve ball.

Turns out they can only be watched on YouTubeTV which is different than YouTube Premium, which is what we have. We no longer have an antennae (abandoned that years ago) and the ABC website requires a service provider which we do not have either, just streaming services. I did a search for workarounds like Stanford’s Puffer but that’s already maxed out because there’s a ceiling on the number of users.

Having a sad…

total fail. Donnie Yen presented. RRR won for best song. EEAAO took home a bucket load of awards including your GF Michelle Yeoh.
