939-256: Work, go home, work more. Our dog walkers are coming earlier so maybe I'll take Yuki out in the evening.
Damn, my ear and jaw hurt. Feels like someone punched me. I had an itch in my ear yesterday and now it's sore and inflamed. Maybe an alien laid eggs in my ear? I've been getting a lot of odd pains recently. Last week my gut muscles were painful but it went away. Wait those alien eggs are talking to me. What? Exterminate all yetis? But what about... oh, well okay. If you put it that way...

940-257: Finished today's telemeets already. Now it's just work and then iaido tonight. Tara is coming down after her work this evening.
My ear is still bugging me. I'm starting to think it's some sort of infection. Hurts to move my jaw (to eat). I might get it checked. A friend suggested that I should because it's close to my brain.

Today is my remote day. Heading to the library bookstore later. Answering emails. About to have lunch. With cheese.

Dentist was today. First time in 2 decades. They were great, really good at the "no pain" thing. I think dentistry has improved a lot and I have reassessed the 10 point pain scale several times. Next up: Oral surgeon.

Well that doesn't sound good. Seems like something happened to make you see the dentist....?

I dunno. I never know. I am a professional writer and cannot be bothered by what I might mean. I just key and key and people pay me for that. It's better than flipping burgers for a living...
I forgot to mention that I had a video appointment with Kaiser today. My ear/jaw issue. The earliest local in-person was 2.5 weeks out. The earliest local video consultation was Monday. I booked it with Kaiser Fremont instead just to get it today. Yesterday, my ear/jaw hurt like hell.
But today, of course, it's feeling a lot better. My jaw only aches a little, that sort of post muscle strain ache. My ear is still a bit tender and itchy. Figures. Sometimes I think I just need to set the appointment to heal. The doc thinks it was a muscle spasm, possibly related to grinding my teeth. I did have a few coughing fits due to the dry mouth from my nortriptyline.
I do feel better now.

942-259: Kung Fu & dog parking is all that on the list today. Hopefully I’ll catch Tara when she swings by to pick up Bottles.

Going to a baby shower this afternoon. It's at a restaurant the father-to-be owns, so hopefully good food - that's really the only reason I'm going. Well not quite true; I'm fond of the soon to be grandmother. Probably we won't know much of anyone else.

No Stab Shack today, just the shop until 5:00, then no work until Monday evening.

That seems in keeping with the Tibetan Yetis. I don't think they work much at all.
