"Time for Season's Beatings"

I'm a little on the fence on turning our childhood memories into these horrific stories. Same goes for the Winnie the Pooh slasher film.

But will it be as good as Krampus?

Speaking of which, the Aesthetic Union in SF has some Krampus Holiday Cards

SPOILER ALERT

I know I mentioned this before but that first one was with interviews with the talent. This is just the film. The fact that they're doing a second one doesn't bode well and I suspect Greg's call on same sex romcoms might be spot on. Who'd a thunk Greg would be so on top of same sex romcoms?

Following the screening there will be a Q&A with Director Damien Chazelle and Actor Diego Calva

Damn. I do want to see this. It's at the Castro, which means it's the SF premiere and there's talent in the house. It's on a bad day for me however, and I can't think of a Kung Fu connection...

The Kung Fu connection is Margot Robbie is in it.

I'm looking forward to this picture. It looks wild.

PUSS IN BOOTS: THE LAST WISH

Again, tempting. Puss is a swordscat so it would be an easy write up. Plus I had such a great experience with the first one.

Here's my best one:

Here's Salma ready to ditch Antonio for the hot bald Asian cameraman:

It was fun.  I should have brought T because I could have probably jedi-ed her in too, and she loves Puss.

Puss in Boots is great fun - it harkens back to the original Shrek in style, pace and humor.  Great 3D.  Kitty Softpaws (aka Salma who ditched Antonio for the hot bald Asian cameraman) is a tuxedo cat, just like ours.  And there's some fun sword fights.  I was totally satisfied with the film.  Now I just gotta figure out a way to connect it to kung fu for my review.  It's like 6 degrees of kung fu bacon for me, but the bacon is access to the red carpet.

Now what did I do with Salma's number?

The ironic thing is that the red carpet premiere was the Westfield theaters in SF. Yep. I met Salma and Antonio at the feckin mall...
