Ikr? The parameters of the force are ill defined. Like I said, been wondering for years.
But man, if I had a lightsaber, never mind the force chokes, I would cut everything I could.

RIP Tera Sinube!
Well, that was a poor episode. Why are we torturing the girl? Why is everything so big in this place? What is the point of this place? Swimming? I was bored. Third daughter needs to find some nuance in her menace. The plot is overly convoluted.

E5: wow - serious Vader force grab.
I had a sneaking suspicion that this was where 3rd sister’s arc would go. I can’t believe Stacy spoiled the Grand Inquisitor mcguffin for me. She did it subtly. Tara must’ve tipped her off.

The pre-show warning sticks out in my head. This ep replays Anakin’s mass lightsabering of the younglings which could trigger Uvale memories. I hadn’t thought about it at the time but in retrospect, what a fucked up time we are in that this is even happening.

I'm not reading your post until I see the show tonight, Scapino.

No worries. I’m adopting the same with your Ms Maevel posts. Wed nights are tv nights, right?

Lift the embargo!
Ep05 was so much better than 04. It was nice to see HC out of the suit, but man he looks old in those scenes. Big time force pull. There was a lot of twisty plot happening which was good. I don't know the previous episode felt so dreary. Nice Light Saber battles from everyone. Sadness. The less kid the better I say. I'm not going to be able to see the finale as the Queen will be out of town doing meeting things and attending her HS reunion. Or maybe I will watch it and just see it again when she returns.

The finale. Well, it was ok. There was a good lightsaber fight which is really all we ask. In the end, I found the most appealing scenes were when the full on Vader, Leia, & Kenobi themes were played. I enjoyed the series but wasn’t overwhelmed. It would be amusing to watch all the Anakin v Obi-wan lightsaber fights edited into one vid. I’m sure someone will do that on YouTube eventually.

I was underwhelmed. I'm glad they rehabbed Christensen and MacGregor because no one wants to go through life being the face of the people who ruined Star Wars. But it was all meh. Some episodes were good. Some were bad. It was nice to to see Ice Cube's kid continue to work on his acting chops.
There was a lot of fan service. It was like they went through A New Hope and found a bunch of pieces they could give stories to. I wish the overall story was better. I did pause the film and scream when OWK felt Luke being in trouble from across the galaxy, rushed to save him only to be unaware of where he was on the planet. They did a lot of those things in the show. Why not launch all the fighters from Vader's Star Destroyer to surround the rebel cruiser rather than firing those puny laser beams at the fleeing ship? I did like the blending of Christensen's voice and James Earl Jones voices in that one scene. That was particularly effective.

I'll just put this here.
Deadline Wrote:James Earl Jones – one of the most distinctive voices in the history of film – appears to have made steps to step back from voicing the Star Wars character, Darth Vader, after nearly 40 years in the role.

It was contrived, clunky, overwrought, and filled with Deus ex Machini. 10/10 Loved it!
OK, didn’t “love” it, but was entertained more than I was annoyed. Barely
