Still no heat at work, so at home today. Heading over to Los Gatos later to a craft store. My nephew gave me a gift certificate thinking it was an art supply store, but it's really a scrapbooking store. Hopefully I can find some good paper for some collage ideas I've got.

Does it expire?
Sometimes you can find interesting resources at scrapbooking stores, but usually not...

Apparently no expiration. I went over there today hoping to find good paper, but didn't really see anything. But they did have some gessoed 12x12 panels, so I could get a couple of those, and they did have some brushes, so I think I should do okay.

Can always use fresh brushes, right? I just picked some up for Tara for xmas at Lenz (love that shop). There were some $150+ brushes for sale. I got her some acrylics too. So expensive now.
Oh man, glad I don't paint anymore.

673: Thor'sday telemeets, then the Academy reopens tonight so back to Kung Fu. YAY! (tonight's practice is gonna suck because I've just been a loaf during the holidays and have been neglecting everything, including my qigong).

674: Fridays are now my big work days as I unpack all the thors day telemeet tasks. I need to wash the dog soon. He got dumped in the mud yesterday and it wouldn’t all brush out last night.

Excellent. I'll be setting out traps to get rid of this cow infestation.

Clear and cold this morning. (Beautiful clear sky last night with lots of stars.)
Heading to Lowe's for a new keyless deadbolt. We hate the one we have; it uses battery power to open and close the lock so the batteries die quickly. And it's loud. Switching to one where the battery just shifts the tumblers and you flip the bolt by hand. Keyless entry is sweet.
Also have to install a screen panel over the attic vent at the front of the house. The existing vent is just cut through a board with screen on the inside, and a bird likes to perch on the edge. Then he shits on the edge of the porch right in front of the door. I'm surprised such a small bird can shit so much. I'm going to shut him out.

679: I give my first report on CRM at the YMAA staff meeting about Dec. Sales fell way beneath goal but it was the same last year - the projections were too high. Then I take my mom for a biopsy for a sore on her tongue, after which I try to get her in to check on her bridge at her dentist next door. Looks like the tooth that was holding her three upper front teeth gave way. It’s bad. I wish I could get back to a place where my weekly caretaking visit wasn’t dealing with some emergency issue but those times have passed. Then home.

Had a long dream about fenicing last night. Hope I remember enough of it to relate it here later.
680 Telemeets: our IT in Portugal gets his booster so won’t be at 2 of them, which just leaves me and the bossmang. Then Kung Ru tonight.
