501: Friday’s are becoming my work days - processing all of the tasks from yesterday’s meetings and getting some writing done. The UNESCO piece is almost finished. I should get those gratis pieces going. I must unpack my power unit which just arrived and figure out how to rearrange my office space.
Stacy is still healing so there’s care there, plus attending to Yuki. Since Stacy hasn’t been able to take him on morning walks, he’s been punchy.
Tonight, in defiance of sheltering in place, I’m getting together with two friends from the KF academy just to hang out. We’ve all been training together involving some physical contact for weeks now.

Not to self - when your visit a friend who’s a TCM healer and has a still, you’re going to be drinking some weird shit. ‘It’s medicinal’ suuuuure whatevs.
502: Kung Fu, dog bath (Yuki is rather ripe), Stacy care, maybe a bit of work in the corners - mostly sorting papers and reconfiguring my office space to accommodate the new Mac.

503: To SF to pick up Tara & Bri’s keys to their new pad. We’ll meet their landlord for the first time, hopefully confirming that he’s real and not some internet scammer that we’ve sent thousands of dollars to already. We’ll also take Yuki to GGP for the first time because it’s only two blocks away. He’ll need exercise and I’m not taking him to a DP for a bit to maintain his post-bath cleanliness. Super soft fresh smelling dog coat right now.

Did you have a good outing in SF?

We did indeed. Tara’s new pad it really nice and strategically positioned, just two blocks from GGP. Yuki had a blast. He was fascinated by ducks. We walked around Stow lake, then over to the bandshell where I grabbed a prawn wrap at the Sam’s truck and ran into some Kung Fu cousins who had just finished their practice. It was great to see them. Too many people tho. The pandemic has amplified my disdain of tourist.
504; Today was supposed to be when Tara made the drive north but she’s too overwhelmed with the move so it’s postponed until Wednesday. They have a few days of overlap. Now it’s a solid work day for me since I hope to get ahead, of at least some pad, for when she does come up. I have a screener tomorrow too in SF so I need some room there too.

505: Now today is the alleged day of daughter migration. It’s awkward for me because I’m bound to tonight’s screener, but she tells me she’s got it handled.
The plan is they will come here and spend the night st the bungalow - two cars full of stuff, 2 cats & a dog. Unfortunately we don’t have a litter box because we set on up at their place on Sunday. Then they’ll make it for their new crib tomorrow. They say they have a friend in SF to help, plus a friend or two might foment up from the Cruz. I must be at my mom’s tonight having missed last week due to Stacy’s dental emergency (she’s almost recovered). So it takes us out of the equation for the load in, which I’m most worried about. They have to move all their stuff up to the 3rd story and the parking is limited (in front is a bus stop and an area blocked off by one of those temp pandemic outdoor eating structures. Dad worries.
Meanwhile I have a YMAA telemeet this afternoon and I need to pick up a plank about 20x40 to extend my desk to fit my new Mac. I spent yesterday moving my bookcase and rearranging my office nook to accommodate. It’s scheduled to arrive tomorrow between noon & 4.

Glad Stacy is recovering. I'm working both jobs tomorrow, so I'll be of limited help. I finish up around 10:00pm if they need something. Safeway is open until midnight (7th & Cabrillo) gas stations are on Geary.

Thanks but Tara assures me that she's fine. They should be here soon but I must head up to SF next.
They've allegedly got their competitive windsurfing friend who is already in SF. Perhaps also Alex, the guy that I should've kneecapped with my staff when he sprinted to the finish line at Yosemite. Both are young and strong and won't mind carrying stuff up 4 flights of steep SF stairs for two young gals.
Once they get settled, I do want to reintroduce you. I doubt she'd ever use you as an emergency contact (when she went to SD, I tried to introduce her to some KF brothers, but the only one that worked out was an actual Shaolin monk, and she never made contact again). Nevertheless, it'll be an excuse to see you, the gals, and maybe even H as we've only met fleetingly and I'd love to have a more extended conversation with her. We shall see how this all goes.
Today has been absurd. I won't get into Stacy's crazy Mac issues, but I broke my wifi antennae for my PC with all the moving yesterday, and then the trackpad on my laptop here stopped working. it has a detachable keyboard and I just needed to clean the contacts but it was a lot of stress just prior to a telemeeting.
Looking forward to getting lost in the DCEU. Give me my dose of Harley!

First rule of Suicide Squad is...um, make the *other* guy commit suicide? Maybe?

506: 2 back2back telemeets - YMAA & CHSA - then mom chores then I’m not sure. Maybe to SF if Tara & Bri need more help? Maybe TSA? That’s a wild card. Maybe home to build my desk (MAC delivery postponed to tomorrow). Patrick should have his review handoff by evening and I’ll write into it for submission for Thurs morn.
Kinda busy right now...
