One of my students watched Stro.
She’s 16.
I was somewhat mortified, because: Language. I apologized for being “swear-y” but she was obviously delighted and hearing me cuss was apparently a part of the movies appeal.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

In that Kimmel Grohl clip I posted in Trailers, they show a snippet from Grohl's upcoming doc where St Vincent and Ringo (separately) talk about farting in the van...per Ringo, you have to claim ownership if you want to stay on speaking terms...

It went well. Sort of. My fears that people would turned away because of the 100 person limit went unrealized. There were about 22 people for Amazon Prime and maybe 18 for the Zoom. Not a lot of chatting during the Watch Party. Some people might have used the Zoom chat as a therapy session....

You should have stayed for the Zoom! Wei-Tak was very excited to see his Coach, that Cole guy, in the film. And to be fair, it was at Wei-Tak's urging we do the watch party and Zoom meeting. And yes, I do have the recording of the Zoom meeting....

I was amused by Jeff Richardson. He's been circling around my orbit in the martial world for years.
It was also great to see Alex there. I should reach out to him after the pandemic subsides a little more.
