If the kraken arises on dose two, it likes to grab you by the neck and give you a good shake. At least in my case. My neck is normally okay, except for some reduction in turning radius. But with that second dose, it would catch and crack and so on. The worst was when giving Halvah fluids, when I have to crane my neck upwards to check the bag level. Just a head's up (ouch) to be ready to resort to massage or whatever else helps should it present itself.
That was one of the unexpected side effects among the many. I hope that Liam Neeson goes hoarse your time around.

Wonderful.
My neck is already jacked up after 13 years of cervical arthritis.
I feel okay now. Shoulder is still quite sore but I believe the chills were limited to that one episode. But I’ve been staying in bed where it’s warm just in case.

I had to get up to poop.
I'm up now. Made that commute from my bed to my office in record time. No traffic, unless you count Yuki.

Went to bed early and slept like a stone, except for some intense dreams and the occasional Yuki barking. I feel better now, just a little headachy and my should is much less sore. Dehydrated.

Yesterday I got an email from the county cancelling my 2nd shot appointment, and saying that they referred it to Kaiser, who are supposed to make it a priority, and I should hear from them in 48 hrs. So far I've heard nothing.
The explanation is that the state is supplying vaccine for Kaiser members to Kaiser, so I have to go there.

One of Stacy’s clients was cancelled similarly. She was rescheduled for nearly a month later and was pissed. I was told that kaiser was reserving vax2 for anyone who had vax1 so 2 is guaranteed.
Btw my vax2 moved from kaiser to the marriott near Levi’s. That’ll be in April.
I’m feeling much better now. My shoulder is only moderately sore, about the same as with any shot.

Got a message from Kaiser that there are 8,000 of us who had their appointments cancelled by the county. They don't have enough doses, so they reminded me that the CDC says the second shot will still be effective if given later. They will let me schedule it in a few days.

Got an appointment on Friday for the 2nd shot. Kaiser's email went to my spam folder, and it took me a few days to notice.
