I’ve started to revisit this classic and luvin it. The stories are tight - a lot happens in the half hour. Patrick Mcgoohan still rocks. He gets beat up a lot and over sells his punches but it works. He gets into some palpable peril with each Ep. What I like the most is the old school hardware, hiding gun parts in bread loaves, that sort of thing. It’s not programming mysticism. It feels more real.
3 eps in - no sword fights yet. DOOM recommended.

John Drake is such a bad ass.
Ep 6 - still going strong. Still very entertaining. And there was sort of a sword fight. A middle eastern man attacked Drake with a long knife that was borderline sword like. Nice fight scene.

Ep 13 was The Prisoner. It’s not related at all - an escape scheme using a concert pianist look alike to swap with an exile trapped in the consulate. It’s a tad preposterous as this show goes. This show doesn’t disappoint.

E16 Still an awesome show. McGoohan just owns it. Bond lifts so much from Drake, at least the cinematic Bond.
Now it’s on IMDb which is free with ads which is a bummer.
