Some people might refer to that as a lisp.

Dammit.  I saw the typo after posting.  But I didn't go back to edit it because I knew it was no big deal, and nothing would be said.

But I forget.  This is DOOM, where nothing is safe.  One must constantly watch one's back, and front, even one's lips.

Add paranoia to the side effects.

lisp, not lips.

or maybe lips. i guess that works too.

My mom reports nothing more than a sore arm and that's already lessening. She got the moderna.

Stacy just got hers. She had messaged her Kaiser doc, who sent her on a journey of possible vaccination centers that involved several calls and emails, being on hold for long periods, and even an application to a center at Moscone, but eventually led her back to booking today's appt at Kaiser San Jose. She got the pfizer.

I'm thinking martial arts writers won't be available until tier 108Z, so I'm hoping they open it up to the mid-50s soon.

Stacy had to wait in line for 45+ mins akin to cf and she had an appt. Shot went okay. She's just a little sore in the arm. Her second shot is scheduled 4 days before my mom's 2nd shot.

Awesome. I assume you'll accompany her? Curious to see how the super vax centers work out.

So pot dealers are medical personnel now. BS.

My friend who is 65 got his shot from Kaiser right when they started, but then they tightened up the age criteria, and they ran out of vaccine anyway. Incidentally, I read an epidemiologist saying that while vaccinating the elderly is compassionate, it basically does nothing to limit the spread of the disease, because they typically have fewer social contacts. It made me wonder if we're going about this wrong.

I'm low on the list, because they are apparently not lumping university personnel in with lower grade teachers - even though college students will act foolishly and put us at risk - and I have no doubt that professors and students will be way before staff, judging from the way the administration typically works.

UPDATE: I read the California health department guidelines, and apparently I'm 1B as well. I was surprised.

They said teachers and educational staff can get a shot after the 28th. I've got an appointment on 3/2.

I'm with Kaiser but they still are doing only 75 and up, so I'm going to Levi's Stadium

It's been a year of COVID and finally, someone I knew personally has died from it. John Tuck was getting on in years and when I last saw him, was having difficulty hearing. He was relocated to a care facility in Austin where his daughter was and I heard that he was succumbing to dementia. I did not know him well, but he was a colorful character had quite a life:

If you ever go to Manuel's in Aptos, his portrait is in the nook near the bar.

Sorry, TG.

Kaiser got me an appointment next Tuesday. H got one tomorrow. They like her better.
