Stro
It's more of a Hyde & Hyde thing, I'm thinking.

If Mr. Singh joins in, it could be Hyde & Sikh.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

I thought the memo said to be kinder to DM in 2021 ?

Another kinder-to-DM memo I have opted to ignore.

Sigh. Rejection. The Dublin International Film Festival will not be validating Stro:TMDS

Stro will not get to screen in Ireland at this time. Rejected by my own forebears country.

Happy Validation Day! I'm looking at you Blue Ridge FF of Georgia. And I did look at the Film Freeway page before posting and Blue Ridge is still supposed to announce today.

No Validation today. Blue Ridge does not care for Stro:TMDS

At the moment, I am going through the subtitle file to find any subtitles that last for less than 800ms. I'm uploading the film to a distribution service that requires all subtitles to be longer than 800ms. I'm currently at subtitle 406 of 2112. Good times!

Happy Validation Day. I actually received a letter from the Iconic Films FF that they would be announcing in 24 hours and wanted to go over the different levels of validation from not selected to finalist.

Iconic Images is the one in Lithuania. It was a $4 entry fee but they gave me a 50% off coupon.

Random STRO tale.

I got a call from Rann Phibbs, who was the epee team captain when I was a freshman. Since SJSU, we crossed paths once at the Warfield at a Phil & Friends show. He had seen the doc that HK shared with him and reached out.

It was cool. We chatted for over an hour last night and caught up. Rann took my under his wing when I first started with Stro, before the Yeti joined. Rann came from a rich family, lived in the Cruz for years with a growing Marine supply company that went from a few stores to hundreds under his watch, continued blowing glass, and now sails boats professionally. He used to get a lot of gigs from Roy Disney, sailing his boat from HI back to CA, making good money. He caught me up on another teammate from that period, Brian Reed, who made a fortune in TX from a nail salon franchise. Brian bought a boat and hires him to captain it. We both reflected on how privileged we were to have been under Stro, and some of the life lessons he taught us. We promised to get together after the pandemic. He owns a plot of land that is several acres in the East Bay somewhere. It was really great to reconnect.

So thanks for that Greg.
