Stacy is a huge fan of period drama like this. She's watched it all. I've watched bits here and there but watched the conclusion of the latest series with her. Olivia Colman kills it as the queen and her scenes with Gillian Anderson as Thatcher are so on point. Gillian is almost unrecognizable. Emma Corin is also spot on as Princess Di (Charles was such an idiot - at least he comes off so here - Di was such a beauty and she just wanted to be loved). It's enjoyable stuff overall - great cast with suitable dramatic notes. Honestly, it's a spot of history that I only remember marginally, so it's both nostalgia and education to see it acted out.

No sword fights but there are occasional swords in the background. Marginally DOOM recommended.
