Why yes, it does make me cranky when I check the analytics and they haven't changed in three days. ie no one has been watching.

Woohoo! Someone has watched 67% of Stro in Singapore!

Wait! What? I don't have any festivals in Singapore.......?

Okay, more importantly, someone in Oxnard has seen the entire movie. I've got two SoCal festivals announcing this week.

Today and yesterday were full of emails about getting the security codes, KDMs, for the festival to be named next week. The film is encrypted by SimpleDCP and the festival needs the security codes to watch it. The codes only work for a short time. It's to keep the film from being pirated.

It's the festival that feels like a festival.

Surprise Validation Day! The Ojai Film Festival has selected Stro: The Michael D'Asaro Story for inclusion into their festival as part of the Gold Coast Series.

I hope Jamie Sommers shows up!

The Bionic Woman?

Of course. The one thing I remember from that show was that she lived in Ojai.

I was born near there. My folks often reminded me of this when I watched the show. As a kid, I hated the Bionic Woman, but I was so dedicated to The 6M$ Man, I watched every episode. Now my opinion of those two series has reversed. The needed to make a series for Max, the bionic dog.

We visited Ojai when looking for High Schools schools for Tara. There was this super progressive private school there that Stacy wanted to see - Oak Grove. It was a quaint little town but it would've been such a move for us all, and instead we wound up in the Cruz.

Congrats on Ojai! We need a calendar of all the film fests that have accepted Stro along with the dates.

Yeah, yeah, another festival, very nice, sure you’re pleased — but when is the DM & The Yeti going to start filming?
