i can't tell how much is smoke and how much is fog. the rising sun is that forest fire hue of orange.

stacy & yuki went to the beach. i'm working from the hotel which has excellent wifi.

Come on. You could go to Tortilla Flats or Cannery Row. Maybe take a trip out to Salinas Valley to see the vineyards where the Grapes of Wrath are stored. It's just East of Eden. If you go when the Moon is down, you just might see a Red Pony.

Or follow my father, head to the Carmel mission and see Junipero Serra's resting place.

It's all smoke down here. Someone said there was some fog this morning, but I don't believe it.

There was fog up here this morning, but it got gentrified by the smoke. Fog is trying to come back in now and retake its traditional lands.

Day 150: in SD (LJ). Hope to catch up on losing yesterday’s work time. Tara works most of today but her apartment is in walking distance of our hotel. Watching the news...

Day 151: maybe a farmers market trip with the collegians if I can summon the courage to face these covid disregarding diegans. Also writing those Den pieces. Piece 3 just needs final polish. Piece 4 has begun.

Day 152: Tara has the day off so we'll spend time with her. I gave both Den pieces a polishing. I might do another but will submit them tomorrow morning.
