That's the smart way to do it.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

Yeah, Stacy suggests that too. My issue is my work is somewhat muse driven and my muses never keep a consistent schedule. Also I have things coming in from different platforms - 3 email addresses, text, and a variety of messengers like facebook, instagram, whatsapp, twitter, etc, plus some exclusive platforms like slack. It can take me a half hour to slog through all of those and by the time I'm done, I have to slog through again.
So hard to stay regular nowadays. Even when I eat my fiber.

Faulkner is supposed to have said, "I only write when inspiration strikes. Fortunately it strikes at nine every morning."

Good one. My quote is "the muse is a fickle bitch".

I hear you. When I sit down and draw, I usually wind up throwing away 90% of it. But if I don't work then no ideas come, so I keep at it. Although lately I've been skipping my drawing days and going for a bike ride instead.

Yeah, I'm writing in bursts now. There used to be more regularity with TC. I had more control of my workload and deadlines. Now with the 5 freelance gigs (well, 4 + 1 half time job) things feel like they come at me more randomly so it's harder to make the space. Gotta lure that muse, right? Gotta seduce her into opening up and letting me in.
The interwebz are pretty damn distracting. Sometimes, when I complete a paragraph, I find myself here again. I often play it off as the wasabi between sushi bites, but really it's just performance anxiety with that fickle muse bitch.

Day 110 - aren’t you glad I’ve kept count. Someday we’ll look back on this thread nostalgically. Hope we live to that day. For now, it keeps me focused ... sort of.
Today is FBU tasks, prep for tomorrow’s webinar & Yuki care as Stacy has a day of errands.

Day 111: Kung Fu practice in a few hours, then my webinar. They had me take an ‘action’ pic for the webinar but they didn’t use it. The promo for this round has been weak.

Still awake from the afternoon pre-webinar caffeination, watching Netflix. Yuki is trying to sleep. Too bad. My turn to keep him up.

Day 114: Got an FBU marketing telemeeting and I must follow up with Veronica Ngo’s rep, plus I’ll stop by TC to return some weapons and check in on my way to my mom’s. But first, I should get some sleep tonight.

Well crap. My vid appt was cancelled. I thought it odd when I didn't get a notification. I need to get this in before the end of next week. My grace period for TC ends next Friday and with it, so goes our medical. I'm told there's a grace period where we can pay out of pocket at the same rate for a few months. We'll see. After that, maybe Obamacare. I already stocked up on my meds.

Some furniture moved about. The North chamber is completely rearranged (again) to protect the power cords from Yuki chewing. My wrist is killin me. And I hate - HATE - ikea furniture. Disassembling and reassembling them is such a pain. Those psycho allen key joints. Who the hell designs that madness? No meatballs for them.
