Sheltering in Place
More concrete pouring. But I'm done.

I made the best omelet I've ever made in my life. Fresh eggs and shitake mushrooms, perfectly ripe avocado, truffle-infused brie, all organic and locally-sourced, cooked in a fat dollop of Kerrygold.

Yup. Ima killin it this Saturday. 2nd breakfast FTW!

It is Saturday, right?

I did get some work done today. Finished another school essay & did some stuff for iMort. And we put the screens up and cleaned the windows... and moved Stacy's mac to the front table which is where we've been hanging out.

Waiting for the postman. I'm skeptical he will come. No new Netflix for us. Bummer man, way to harsh our ... Tuesday?

well, that went badly.

stacy decided it would be a good day to clean out the shed. we have a tiny 10x10 packed with crap we couldn't fit in our tiny bungalow. she was doing pretty much everything, like usual, and asked me to come out and tend to a few things - rusty tools and such. i started and a few minutes in i had a brutal allergy attack. all this sheltering in place and masking has kept me safe this year. i bailed as soon as i started to feel it coming on, hopped in the bath to wash off any offending pollen and am now laid out in my cave with the air filter on full, attempting to biofeedback my histamine levels to something not so itchy, sneezy and watery.

so much for sunday.

DAY 47: Star Wars Day

Not sure how to celebrate yet beyond donning Star Wars shirt & socks.

I do have a mission to aquire Mother's Day choccys.

Allergy level still seems high - still itchy from yesterday. Stacy left for a long hike but there's no way I can be outside for that long today.

Eager to get some writing done today. Feeling very slack about that from last week.

Mom's choccys acquired but damn, my allergies kicked in super hard with such a minor outing. Glad to see our local choccy maker is deemed 'essential biz'. Not sure if I'll try the second choccy mission today. Allergies way too high. Maybe all this sheltering in place has weakened my resistance.

On another happy note, it does not appear that the Jetta is leaking. It looks like it was just a previous stain underneath the car. It's a weird drive tho. Reverse is in a funny place on the gear shift. It'll take a little getting used to...

Finding reverse in a Volkswagen is one of the rights of passage for a driver. Congratulations!
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

I loved my GTI.

I spent the day hanging drywall. Some day the undead shed will be finished.

Oooh. I like the sound of that.  Sounds like a band name.

DAY 48: Yesterday was rough. Painful allergies had me down all day and then a harsh turn of events has me tweaking to my brain circus on overload. I'll share that soon. Today, after I get some sleep hopefully, I head over to my mom's like usual for a Tuesday. Looking forward to streaming the Clone Wars finale with stronger wifi. My allergies have finally settled for the night. Now if I can just get this brain circus to quiet down...
