Nice. This fills in nicely for someone like me.
It might be good to show each weapon, and maybe examples of fencers on the strip engaging with each (DM did say to show more fencing, every chance you get, or am I putting words in his mouth?).
But this segment alone would help non-fencers like me get their bearings early in the documentary.

Might makes Right (of Way)
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

The quest for the resting place of Stro continues. Nilo Otero didn't know.

Cute.
Yeah, having to de-seed with a grate as coarse as a fencing mask went the way of VHS tapes. Mind you, dm de-seeded with a mask too. And that seed dropping story, yeah, that happened to many others, even in the DM/PPFY generation. The 80s gen of SJSU fencers were still in that seedy zone. It was definitely a 'thing' with the team - RASTAFARIAN FENCERS UNITE! It's pretty rare to find seeds now. What with hybridization of strains and better cultivation, seeds started vanishing during the 90s.
FYI - In pothead jargon, that's called a 'rolling tray'. Goog it. Key factors in a good tray are 1. It has rounded corners so it's easy to scoop up the shake. Sharp corners won't do. 2. It's relatively compact and durable. Some of my crew carry rolling trays everywhere at festivals. 3. It have some cool logo or be made of some natural wood. And 4. It has a good story behind it. What a treasure that tray is.
More FYI - The main reason to leave out seeds is that they pop when ignited. DM used to have a pistol bong with a gatling bowl. The mouthpiece was the barrel and the carb was the hammer. The bowl rotated with six chambers. It was a DM design for Russian roulette bong hits. All the bowls would be filled and a seed would be hidden in one of the chambers. Everyone would take turns taking rips until some loser got the pop. Then they'd have to sit out for the next round. If memory serves, DM passed that on to a fellow AFS employee.

It was Han's drink tray and Stro's rolling tray.
Having a gun for a bong where you suck on the barrel is pretty dark.

I'd worked that much out for myself, funnily enough.

Come on now. We grew up together. Remember when we were teens and I wore black all the time? I packed blades everywhere, collected skulls, and was really morbid. Well, I don't wear black all the time anymore. Just some of the time. And I don't collect skulls either. I got too many skulls already.

Just got off the phone with the tax guy. Now I'm hunting for receipts from 2016. There will be a lot of downloading in my future.

I hooked up computer to the Big TV and watched Stro twice to figure out where I am on the movie. I took a lot of notes on changes. When I sat down at the computer to effect those changes, I quickly came to the realization that my penmanship is terrible.

So the sword is mightier than the pen after all.
In some hands, at least.

I intentionally practice my penmanship when addressing envelopes that I could just print.
The mailroom guy is constantly asking me for clarifications.
