Jackie Chan's Rob-B-Hood
#1
Here's the trailer:

There was some mention of this project reunited the trio - Jackie, Sammo and Yuen, but Sammo bowed out for some reason. My buddy August West mentioned it in his coverage of THE MYTH.

Love the confidentiality agreement bit. You've got this site locked down right? Wouldn't want Warner to seize the forum. There's more than a few great movie ideas here, for sure. Move over MI3, time for PPFY.

Um, why are you posting here rather than there? Just asking.

It won't be available for long. Read it while you can.

Quote:Drunken Jackie Chan Disrupts Show
Tuesday July 11 9:24 AM ET

Jackie Chan disrupted a concert by Taiwanese singer-songwriter Jonathan Lee and exchanged insults with the audience, a news report said Tuesday.

Ming Pao Daily News quoted the 52-year-old action star as saying onstage that he was drunk.

Chan suddenly jumped on the stage Monday night and demanded a duet with Lee. He then tried to conduct the band but stopped and restarted the music several times, the newspaper reported.

As the awkward interruption dragged on, audience members started to heckle Chan, who replied with an insult, according to the report.

A spokesman for Chan, Solon So, said he hadn't seen Chan since the alleged incident and had no immediate comment. He said he didn't attend the concert.

Concert organizers didn't immediately return a call seeking comment.

Chan, whose Hollywood credits include the "Rush Hour" series and "The Tuxedo" was an invited performing guest at Lee's show Sunday night.

This makes me like Jackie even more.

The man gets drunk, jumps onstage and makes a fool of himslf.

He's a womanizing, hard-drinking, hard-working, loveable everyman.

Not like some Irish, sunglass-wearing rockstar celebrities who pull holier-than-thou attitudes and try to buy themselves halos buy kissing the asses of right-wing politicians.

GO JACKIE, GO!

But did Jackie get 40 billion for Africa? I don't think so. Rock on, Bono. End and the means and all that.

Jackie didn't write "Lemon" either.

The word is that Jackie was offered 20 million for RH3. Chris Tucker was offered 40 million. They might shoot RH3 and RH4 back-to-back. And the villain? Rumor has it that it'll be none other than Jean Claude Van Damme. If I were Jackie now, I would not only have got drunk, I would have hung a bare ass at that audience.

I'd slip you a fin for that. Plus, I could add the picture to my small but memorable Doom Brother's ass collection.

Excuse me? We'd start off the budget problems by giving the two stars fifty million dollars? What the F?

Usually I complain about spelling. Now Greg has me worried about his math. It must be the wasteful producer coming out in me, but I think you're off by a cool ten mil.
