No I haven’t seen it yet but I’m sitting outside the screener, waiting for my partner in crime Plugo at this horrid aberration of a mall that is now oakridge. In a few hours, I’ll be armed with spoilers and not afraid to use them. For a few days, I will be a king among nerds again.
I hope they cast Newton & Seale well.

A refreshing twist on the marvel formula. Still visual, still funny, still entertaining, still with a good Stan Lee cameo, still worth sitting through the credits for those next installment teasers. The first casino fight is well choreographed - an extended single shot with almost seamless digital seams and transitions form live action to cgi.
Most of all - Oakland!

But then, my eczema has me not far behind. Oy! What a drag it is growing old. It did occur to me after my morning gregjab that you probably have the closest black relative of any of DOOM with Zach. Now, I'm walking that thin BLM line with this BP review. It's trickier than I thought. There's actually a lot to say about the film. It has the most to say of any Marvel effort so far. DOOM recommended.

Yeah......
It was fine. Yay, Oaktown. I wanted more Andy Serkis. I wanted more of the leader of the Gorilla tribe. I wanted more of Killmonger. I thought Black Panther was a very passive hero. He never decided to do anything. He didn't really have goals or things to do. Everyone around him was doing things. His super ability was he could live. I thought too many things happened in the script because the script demanded it of them. And what the hell was Martin Freeman's role? I think I saw the chase scene too many times to be excited by it. I did really like the animation of the opening. I thought that was cool. There were a lot of Trumpian overtones to the movie. But that might be coincidental. Or not. I didn't like the fact that people were ready to engage in civil war so easily. Everything was very facile. Oh, look now I'm the king. Oh, look everyone is ready to help me with my nefarious plan.

Well, the movie is based on a comic-book, not on Dostoyevski.
