Yay, the world of gymnastics told from the perspective of a former gymnast who has aged into this foul mouthed harridan bitter about her lack of fame. She can't seem to move on from the fact that she is no longer the big star.

And the gymnast is played by Bernadette from The Big Bang Theory in this hard R comedy. I think they were using the term comedy loosely. Face it, I saw this movie to see Bernadette naked which is how they sold the movie. Spoiler, that doesn't happen. Although there is an acrobatic sex sequence but I'm pretty sure it's a body double since the whole sequence was lit so poorly.

It's not a very good movie. Bernadette is just foul mouthed and you know she is on the road to learning a valuable lesson. There are maybe one or two lines that are funny but that is about it. Basically, you watch a horrible person for 90 minutes.

The gymnast sex scene is almost entertaining.

I can't really watch raunchy gymnastic films because my daughter was in that world for too long and it gets icky quick.

I watched Authors Anonymous for Kaley Cuoco (with no tease of a nekkid scene).  I never got to the end.  Terrible and dumb.

Okay, well, I take that back. I found this quite amusing. Rauch is raunchy and a few of the rude quips are keepers. Perhaps it's the aftereffect of spending Tara's preteen years in the gymnastics world - some of the references had that insider view. Good cameos of Dominique Dawes, Olga Korbut & Dominique Moceanu. And interesting to see Cecily Strong play straight. 

As for that gymno sex scene, if you freeze frame it, there are moments of Bernadette's buxomness in full display. At least, I'm assuming so. There were body double shots too, but there's a few genuine shots. 

It's very predictable. What makes it work is the gymnast insider references, and Bernadette breaking character. 

Stacy said she wouldn't recommend it to Tara because it was so raunchy but she said that I could. I don't know if I will tho - maybe if she needs a mocking gymno fix. It's good for gymno PTSD.

No sword fights. Not DOOM recommended except for hardcore Big Bang Theory fans.
